I got this desk in black, to match the furniture in my room. I wanted to get the 48” with the keyboard tray but didn’t have the room, so this one was next best with the drawer. It was easy to put together. Took me about an hour and a half, only because my back was not cooperating. If you’re used to building IKEA or Target items, expect about 45 minutes to an hour. The instructions are simple and easy to follow.I put the wheels on so I can move it around as needed. I rolled it into my room, plugged it in and did the reset per the instructions. That’s where this loses a half star. It took a few tries to do the reset even following the instructions. Then it loses the other half star. After I thought it was set, I raised the desk up and it made a weird noise from the motor when I stopped it, which wasn’t at the top, but then there was no reaction to the down button. I did the reset again to make it go down, figuring I must have missed something. This time I raised it up a little and hit the down button again and it went down, but when it goes down it’s a little noisier than going up.Overall it’s a nice desk, good functionality so far, but the “reset” instructions need a little tweak and I’m hoping the motor and/or axle assembly don’t have a problem off the bat!Since I just built it today, I’m going to give a few weeks and see if anything changes. If it does I’ll add an update.I only had about 46” of space to put my workstation. This desk fits perfectly, and so far the motor is very quiet and works wonderfully. My only complaint is that with the wheels (which I need if I do need to sit down as I have a treadmill under the desk), the desk is almost too tall for me at its lowest. I’m 4’11” and my chair is at its highest. I may install a keyboard slider on it to lower it a bit, but it’s not terrible as long as you have a footstool. The finish is nice, by touch you can tell it’s not real wood but it looks authentic and adds a nice touch. You will want your own cable management though, the clips that come with it do not stick very well and they’re always falling off.It is a nice desk and most parts are sturdy. It is fairly easy to assemble once you have identified the parts and digested the pictures. I assembled it alone. My only qualm is the rod that goes across table sits in two sockets. The leg with the motor slipped from my hand and fell on the carpeted floor. With the motor side up. Yet the little socket has chipped away and doesn't look like metal. It looks very cheap. After all the troubles, I am not sure how long this would work. For now it is ok. The whole point of the desk is it is motorized. A critical piece to make that work is so shoddily built.Very easy to assemble. Took me less than an hour to get it all together. Instructions didn’t come with too many word instructions but if you’re a visual doer/learner the step by step images will really help. I’m also pleasantly impressed with the sturdiness considering that my old desk was 3/4 of the price and not at all comparable. The up/down buttons are a little slow but not noticeably so. This is a win for me!I love my standup desk, I’ve had it for about 2 months now and have no complaints! Except a screw did come lose and I don’t know where it came from a couple weeks ago but everything is still in placeVery good size for small spaces. Very easy to assemble and does not look flimsy or cheap. This is a good buy and recommend this for folks who are looking for a small working table. You have a choice to use with/out wheels. I am happy with this purchase that’s why I am giving this product a high rating. After a couple of months of ownership still please with overall operation and usefulness.Looks good and easy to move around. Just the right of space needed for two 22in monitors.Only negative to me is that the lowest height setting is still high for the angle of where I want my wrists to be. Maybe I need a taller chair, but pleased with my purchase. This desk was easy to assemble, works great, and it’s very stylish! It’s the perfect size and wheels around easily when I need it to. I’m very happy with this purchase!Easy to assemble, solid construct, perfect size. I should have bought this way sooner. Standing work and meetings changes the dynamics. Totally recommend.Update: No more recommended. Bought on june 9th 2021. Today is august 27 2021. Electronic is dead so the desk doesn't rise/lower anymore. I'll try to contact the seller.Update 2: couldn't contact the seller. However, I managed to reset the controller (press and maintain up & down arrows until it beeps twice) and it is working again. Just reprogram the height memories.DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. PLEASE! This is my first ever Amazon review EVER so you must understand the frustration this desk has caused me to actually write it. I am completely by myself so I setup the desk and it worked beautifully the first day. The second day, it just stopped working in the sitting position. I reassembled the desk all by myself and let me tell you, it's weighs a ton!Nevertheless, I tried everything and called their support as shown on the manual. The automated voice said to email them. Now, I emailed them so let's see what's happens. My back was hurting by sitting and working the entire days...thanks to the pandemic and WFH situation. That was reason I bought this and now I am back to it the second day of purchasing this desk. Thank you SHW!It'll be a pain to pack this back and drag it all by myself to the post office to return it.Really good table all around. The dimensions fit my small little work space very well. I needed the table width to be below 43” and this was 40”. The depth to be no more than 28.5”, this table was 23.5. Overall perfect dimensions. Only comment is - the legs should be slightly smaller, so that the table is closer to the wall. The current gap is a little annoying but it’s liveable. And I wish the drawer was a little bigger to put more stuff. But still great deal and a great desk. I would recommend because I stand a lot more now within the first week use and I can feel my back improving!
