Bought this bag to beat the new charges every airline has on the first checked bag. This bag looked exactly as described and pictured. Some reviews I read had complained that they didn't think the handle looked sturdily made, but I found it to be no different than any other handles I would expect to find on a carryon bag. You can carry it like a purse, use the long strap to carry on your shoulder or roll it. I've used it twice so far and have found holding by the short handles or rolling it to be the most comfortable. My only criticism is that the bag will not stand up right even though there are rubber feet at the base of the bag where the wheels are. If I roll and stop to get to a check-in counter etc., I had to hold onto the rolling handle to keep it steady otherwise it will fall over. This is most likely due to the shape of the bag itself, because it has a flat bottom but a round top so weight in the bag doesn't get evenly distributed. If you set the bag flat of course, it's fine, but can be annoying when you just want to roll the bag. I would definitely use this bag if you're looking for a carryon that will pack as much as you can fit and will still go into the overheads easily. it also has a little zipped pocket to hide the rolling handle if you want to carry it as a duffle/purse. This bag should not be used in checked baggage though, its definitely made just for carryon use - checking it will run the risk of other much bigger bags roughing it around and since its not a rectangle shape you don't want it crushed under some 50lb bag. All in all though really great buy as long as you use it for its intended purposes. I'm very happy and would buy again.
