I love my new rolling stool! It was very easy to assemble. All the parts were in the package, including the screwdriver to attach the seat. It only took me a few minutes to assemble. I love how smoothly the wheels glide across my flooring. I can change directions quickly without any jarring movements. The seat swivels all the way around smoothly as well. It is nice to have the option of adjusting the height of the seat. It is a quick release handle to make the adjustment. You just pull the handle and sit on the stool to lower it. To raise the stool, pull up on the handle and lift your weight off the stool. i would say it raises about 4 to 5 inches. it is very sturdy and easy to maneuver. The only issue I had was getting the seat on straight the first time. It went on with a little bit of an angle, but it was easily fixed.This is not a large, thick and comfortable seat. The whole thing is plywood with a little 1/2" of foam on top. It is not comfortable! Returned!Well made and ready to assemble.Never had this experience before, all most fell on the floor. Seat totally collapsed. Could of been hurt bad. ?This stool is easy to assemble & looks great. :)I'd hoped to use it in my craft room but I don't think it's actually durable or comfortable enough to use for long durations. :/The top looks well padded but it's really only a decent grade plywood with a standard amount of foam on top. Nothing fancy or terribly sturdy.The wheels are a mid level plastic so, again, nothing fancy or terribly sturdy.It's a very pretty item but I'd hoped to be able to use it for many hours of crafting, just rolling back & forth between desks/crafts but it's just not well suited for that task. I fear the stool itself may actually break or it may damage the flooring if I try.So... for basic use, maybe as a vanity stool, it'd be great. If you're wanting it for more significant use, as I'd hoped, I'd keep looking for something a little more durable. ;)I like having these around the studio for guests or anyone who wants a comfy plush stool, everyone loves them and they look and feel great! It rolls super smooth and feels extra stable, love it!Easy to assemble, easy to sit on. No drama. I took away a star because there were scratches in the metal finish of the base. It look like maybe it was painted in a place that wasn't exactly pristine because there were pieces of grit under the plastic protective covering and in the silver paint. These aren't a lot of scratches or heavy scratches, just an issue with the final finish that you notice when assembling the thing.One more thing - I replaced the plastic wheels that came with the stool with some rubber wheels that are far more rugged. I didn't need the ruggedness, just didn't want to scratch my floors.This stool has no trouble holding my 200 lb. self.Very nice cushy stool. The top adjustable height is relatively low, so pay attention to the numbers before purchase.
