New Balance Women's 2.0 Soft Base Layer Pant with Non-Rolling Elastic Waistband - Thermal Running & Yoga Pants for Cold Weather Workouts

Wanted to love this pant. I had previously purchase new balance pants that I loved. But this one, the fabric does not provide any support and is very sheer. I would have return it, but been from PR the shipping costs me a lot more.Comfy and soft. They feel and wear like leggings.I received this pair of New Balance Women's 2.0 Soft Base Layer Pant with Non-Rolling Elastic Waistband in great condition, folded into a cardboard piece of the brand's packaging. I ordered the Black color and it looks as pictured, a soft black shade. It has a small reflective logo at the top of the leg, as well as reflective lines at the back of the calves. Amazon recommended I order a Large. The size chart from New Balance advised a Medium, based off of pant size. I decided to go with Amazon's recommendation and that was a good choice for me. The leggings have some stretch throughout, but it is less than what I'm typically used to when it comes to activewear. They have a soft cotton feel to them. Because of this, I have found that they do have a tendency to get a little warm. I will be wearing them mostly in the colder months. I love that they are opaque, not sheer at all. The fact that they are New Balance makes them very affordable at this price.I order my normal size which is XL and it's too long , and too loose, large could've worked, It's very long, I'm 5' 3" and it stretches all the way to my toes, it bunches at the ankle so it's perfect for taller people. The material is soft and comfortable, very soft. This fit perfectly on someone who is 5'8", and wears size 18 jeans.Super soft cotton blend leggings. Zero compression though so order down a size, seriously. I went with my normal and they were pretty loose.Material made my skin itchThese are lightweight, super soft and stretchy.They have reflective lines on the back so you are visible to drivers while jogging at night.They fit true to size, with a high waist. I’m 5’5” & 170#, the large is a perfect fit.These are great for both lounging or exercise. I love the soft material so much, these are super comfy.These leggings have jumped ahead in line to become my new favorites because of the incredible softness of the fabric, and the comfortable fit. For me (out of shape, slightly pudgy, and middle-aged), these are strictly leggings to wear underneath dresses, tunics, or other pants, as the thin fabric is see-through (yes, even in black with black undies, see my pics), and the crotch area is... well, not flattering. I debated about knocking a star off the rating because of this, but since these are advertised in large letters as a base layer, decided to keep them as 5 stars. They are super comfy and breathe well, and the band actually does stay up without rolling down, with no pinching or digging into my waist. They feel supportive without feeling constrictive, and if they didn't have the obnoxious reflective strips, I would order more to replace my footless tights.For size reference, I am 5 foot 7, weigh 165 pounds, have a flat derriere and big tummy, and wear a US women's size 10 or 30, but usually a medium in Old Navy and H&M pants and leggings. I like the fit of these in the medium size (which is what I am wearing in the photos I uploaded).Overall, these leggings are some of the comfiest I have tried (and I have tried a lot). Do be aware that they are see-through, but if this doesn't bother you, I would highly recommend them.
